The Nokia E75 is part of Nokia's enterprise series that targets enterprise users.
Appearance
The E75 smart phone has a sleek and sturdy body. The phone's edges are rounded off and it feels quite comfortable and nice in your hands. The phone houses two keypads. The façade has an alphanumerical standard mobile keypad and the complete QWERTY keypad slides out of the phone. Although the phone has two keypads it is incredibly slim.
The alphanumeric keypad is a bit of a let down as there are no spaces between the keys, making errors frequent.
The D pad is not very tactile responsive. The QWERTY keypad is more ergonomically designed and more finger friendly as well. The fascia of the phone also has a 2.4 inches wide TFT screen which supports 16Mcolors and has a high resolution of 240X320 pixels for display of vivid and clear images.
Operating system, Interface and communication attributes
The Nokia E75 has a Symbian operating system sporting an S60 interface. It supports SMS, MMS, Voice memo and E-mail for communication. The phone features T9 predictive text technology for easy and fast input. The phone book supports unlimited entries. The phone supports maintenance of detailed call records of dialed, received and missed calls for a maximum of 30 days.
Camera
The Nokia E75 has a 3.2 Mega pixel camera equipped with auto focus and an LED flash for better quality mages. The camera has eight scene modes rarely Auto, User Defined, Portrait, Night, Night Portrait, Landscape and Sports. The phone also has a sequence and timer mode. There is a picture gallery to store pictures for accessing and browsing in the future. The image quality of the camera is brilliant and lucid in bright light, but the same can not be said for images taken in dark conditions since the presence of the LED flash.
The phone has video footage recording capabilities and a second video call camera as well.
Audio entertainment
The Nokia E75 has an audio player that has a simple interface, easy to operate. The phone has a 3.5mm audio jack that enables the use of headphones for private listening. The speakers are not very loud and clear, and bass tracks are especially not very audible. The music library can be sorted on the basis of artist, album, play lists, pod casts and genres. You can activate visualizations when playing songs. The music player is well integrated with the Nokia Music store.
Internet, games and connectivity
The E75 has EDGE, Wi Fi and 3.6 Mbps technologies for faster internet connectivity. The browser supports wap, html and xhtml technologies.
The phone has GPRS interlaced with Nokia maps to aid navigation. There are Blue tooth connectivity for wireless listening and USB ports for facilitating connectivity with other devices.
The phone supports JAVA games and allows you to download games from the internet. The phone is N-gage compatible so as to meet the entertainment needs of gamers better.
Like all other Nokia handsets Nokia E75 strikes a balance between the phone's communication and multimedia abilities.
