This is the iPhone killer from the far eastern electronics giant. The phone has been available in the market since September 2007 and is available on most of the networks over Europe and APAC region.
Samsung Armani is a triband GSM device. It has support for GSM 900/1800/1900 networks. The dimensions of this phone are very compact. At just 87.5 x 54.5 x 10.5 mm, the Armani is one of the most compact touch screen devices available in the market. It weighs just 85 grams. The phone is equipped with a 2.6 inches screen. The screen has QVGA resolution and can display 256,000 colors. This is a TFT touch screen so quality is not a compromise at all.
The Samsung Armani has support for both polyphonic and mp3 ring tones. Some good ring tones are already loaded in the phone and you can order more. They would be available for immediate over the air download. The phone also features vibration alert. The phone book of the Armani can have as many as 1000 numbers. List of missed calls, dialed calls and received calls can have as many as 30 entries each. The phone does not come with any HSCSD support but these are support for Class 10 GPRS and EDGE. Seriously Samsung which year do you live in, 2001? The phone has no 3G nor support for WLAN!
