5. Most importantly, pack a survival kit. This is very important when you go to any trip. Pack a small foldable sharp knife, match, a copy of the map and compass in a waterproof bag or a zip lock plastic and pack it near your body. You can put it in your jacket so that if anything happens to your motorcycle, the kit is still with you.
The key to packing items for a motorcycle trip is to pack lightly. The portable gears today made that easier. Therefore, aside from your Harley Davidson boots, helmet, and jackets, be sure to pack all the needed materials. After all, you do not want to worry a lot when you are on your bike.
